This month, we’re excited to spotlight Vu Anh, our Consultant – Payroll and HR Consulting based in Ho Chi Minh City. He is one of the youngest members, but he is a reliable, proactive, people-oriented, and growth-driven person. Let’s discover Vu Anh’s story below.

What inspired you to pursue a career in HR & Payroll? How many years have you been with the company?

I chose the career in HR & Payroll because it really fits my personality and my competencies. This role allows me to connect with people internal as well as external and help the company operate in compliance. At the same time, I enjoy processing data related to Payroll and Employee benefits.

I’ve been working at Acclime Vietnam for more than one year, and during this time, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience that can help me be better version in this career path.

Tell us about your current position. What are your responsibilities and skills needed to be sucessful?

I’m currently working as a Payroll Consultant. My duties and responsibilities include handling payroll calculations, ensuring compliance with Labour – Tax – Social Insurance regulations, and supporting clients with payroll-related matters. To be successful in this role, attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and a good understanding of regulations are essential, along with clear communication and problem-solving skills.

What’s something about yourself that would surprise people?

That’s an interesting question! Something that might surprise people is how responsible and proactive I am. I’m very active not only in my work but also in internal company activities.

What are your professional goals for 2026?

In 2026, my goal is to take on more challenges in my current role to gain deeper experience. Meanwhile, I want to continue developing essential skills that can help me serve my work and daily life. And on the other hand, I expect to achieve my personal goals to maintain a healthy work-life balance in the perfect way.
