Meet Hong Le, Tax and Accounting Manager.

Hong studied at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City with a Major in Tax and Accounting and commenced working with Acclime in October 2016 as Tax and Accounting Manager. At Acclime, Hong is in charge of providing tax and accounting advice to the company clients, supporting them with the initial tax registrations, corporate income tax finalisation, accounting health-checks and compliance reviews.

Hong has a broad experience in working with manufacturing and tech industries, where she supports global investors with the compliance requirements for their Vietnamese entities. Understanding the specific challenges within certain sectors is important in order to deliver accurate advice in regard to setting up and structuring accounting systems and planning an efficient tax strategy for Vietnam.

In order to deliver a comprehensive service, Hong understands the need to have deep knowledge not just in accounting and tax, but as well in human resources and payroll, logistics and cross-border financial planning. Working with big data and developing the core skills to analyse from a financial and commercial perspective is the area which is most exciting for Hong, as she can bring visible value add to her clients, enabling them to take the most informed and efficient decisions from a business perspective.

In her free time, Hong is passionate about discovering new places and learning new information from local residents, their values and culture. She also regularly practices meditation and yoga, which enables her to clear her mind, find peace and enjoy the present moment.
