In this exciting and challenging role, you will work in our Incorporation, Licensing and Secretarial Team located in our Ho Chi Minh City office as Associate – Licensing, Market Entry and Corporate Services. The role provides an opportunity for a qualified individual with exposure to corporate advisory, company establishment and licensing experience in Vietnam to further develop their skills within Acclime Vietnam and support our international clients expand and execute their operations in country. The Associate – Licensing, Market Entry and Corporate Services will undertake consistent, expert training whilst working part of a team responsible for meeting all relevant professional advisory, licensing & incorporation aspects in accordance of our clients.

What you will do. A day in the life.

The Associate – Licensing, Market Entry and Corporate Services assists clients and the Team with undertaking advisory services regarding corporate structures, market entry for foreign investors, transaction/compliance review, other corporate advisory and statutory services to assist clients with necessary procedures to obtain required certificates/licenses for their planned corporate structure.  As part of the team, you will also assist clients with onshore and offshore company establishment, franchising registration, IP registration, work permits, and general corporate advice.


Sounds exciting? Let’s explore some of the key responsibilities of the position. On a given day, you will:

  • Work with and assist your Manager, and Senior Associate with undertaking a broad range of expert services such as providing advisory, letters of advice, memorandum, report, contract review, transaction review, supporting with statutory procedures in relation to various commercial, corporate, and investment matters, etc
  • Work directly with clients to assist them with their needs in accordance with Engagement Letter and engaged services
  • Perform legal research, negotiation with authorities and other relevant entities to deal with arisen issues, develop and implement practical solutions
  • Participate in high-level meetings and discussions with clients and close team members
  • Assist with documentation, translation, preparation of the application documents, and other documents
  • Review documents provided by clients and the ones prepared by staff you oversee
  • Ensure the quality of the highest international standards for everything which is undertaken by Acclime
  • Track the delegated tasks and undertake relevant reporting to your Manager
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned/instructed by the Company, the Manager, or for compliance requirements under the company policy and the team process

  • You graduated from a University with a Major in Law
  • You have 4 years proven experience in legal consulting, corporate consulting service or related commercial roles
  • Your English is advanced, spoken and written
  • You have a good ability to solve problems, negotiate and perform team-work activities, able to work independently but also in a group
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • You have the desire to work in an international business environment
  • You have solid interpersonal skills: you are able to influence and guide clients and colleagues across a broad range of professional and personal needs
  • You are highly motivated, driven, proactive and responsible, willing to learn
  • You possess analytical skills in examining issues, updating policy documents, checklists, templates, and procedures, and then make appropriate recommendations.
